Caroline Chowdhury is a Bangladeshi-American film photographer, painter, and somatic embodiment coach exploring the relationship between individual and collective liberation.

Upon graduating from the University of San Diego where she took her first darkroom photography class, Caroline brought her Olympus OM-1 on her many travels attempting to capture the power and vulnerability of the human spirit and natural world. Living in Bangladesh, Florida, California, France, Thailand, and Hawaii, Caroline immersed herself in various cultures and ecosystems and fell deeply in love with the world, with humanity, and with the coexistence of fragility and resilience.

While living in Hawaii Caroline completed her training through the Somatica Institute and also became a certified yoga instructor. She began working with clients helping them to reprogram unconscious patterns through being present with emotions and sensations in the body in order to experience personal healing and therefore be better equipped to show up for the collective.

Caroline hopes to reflect in her work the preciousness of life and sacredness of communion.
